When I was young, I had a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden, but as I got older I lost touch with the activity. Many years ago, back in high school, I used to grow a variety of tomatoes and hot peppers and had such a fun time doing it.
When my school sent us all home due to the pandemic, I had a lot of extra time on my hands. My mother came home with some seeds for me to plant and my excitement rose as I began to remember the good ol’ gardening days! The seeds that she brought home were: Basil, Hot Pepper mix, Summer Squash, Cucumbers, Peas, and Radishes.
I grew the radishes early on and harvested over 60 of them! I recorded the progress of the radish garden from day one. You can check out their progress and how fast they grew to maturity in the links below!
I went to planting and in only a matter of weeks, many of them sprouted. I did buy tomato plants, pepper plants, grape vines, and a black berry bush to add to the garden.
Here are a few photos of the garden!
